Locum Tenens Opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position near Whitman, West Virginia. Job Details:

• Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)


• Start Date: ASAP, with a required med staff orientation starting July 2nd


• Contract Length: Through December 31st (Note: No work on holidays)


• Shift Details:
  
  
  
  • Options available: 5x8-hour shifts, 4x10-hour shifts, or 3x12-hour shifts
  
  
  • Shift times: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM, or 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
  
  
  • No call shifts required
  
  
  • Willingness to work weekends is a plus, but not required to work weekends only
  
  
  • Flexibility to work 2-3 weeks per month if preferred
  
  
  
  

Work Environment:

• Coverage Needed: 40 hours per week (due to staff changes and several pregnancies)


• Patient Population/Age: All ages, including both inpatient and outpatient settings


• Practice Setting:
  
  
  
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center
  
  
  • Hospital (3 separate hospitals within 5 minutes of each other)
  
  
  
  


• Department Description:
  
  
  
  • A variety of surgeries including general, vascular, orthopedic, urology, plastics, dental, interventional radiology (IR), cardiovascular, thoracic, pediatric, neuro, cardiac, and endoscopy
  
  
  
  


• EMR System: Cerner

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required in West Virginia


• License: Active West Virginia license required


• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS required


• Minimum Experience: 2 years of experience as a CRNA

Additional Information:

• Schedule: Once credentialed, the provider will receive a schedule from the site based on the confirmed shifts and orientation date.


• Travel: Not specified, but coverage includes various hospitals and surgical centers.
