Work Details: Support Staff: Each provider supported by dedicated medical assistants, receptionists, mental health therapists, dietitians, with many clinics equipped with onsite pediatricians and local healthcare administrators for efficient timecard submission. Monthly Coverage Needs: Full-time, requiring 40 hours per week commitment. Patient Load: Up to 18 scheduled patients per day, with flexibility based on cancellations and walk-ins. Comfort with a fast-paced environment is essential. Patient Population: From newborns to geriatrics. Providers must be adept at managing a wide range of age groups. Department Description: Community Health Center specializing in outpatient ambulatory services, family medicine, walk-in/acute care, and chronic disease management. Experience with vulnerable populations, including migrants and refugees, is valued. Interpretative services are available onsite. EMR: EPIC Special Procedures: Routine procedures including injections, IUD placements, and minor wound care. Skills Required: Proficiency in immediate patient care delivery. Onsite orientation provided with a one-week ramp-up period before independent patient care responsibilities commence. Practice Setting: Setting: Outpatient ambulatory setting - Community Health Center Travel Logistics: Travel Coverage: Includes flight, rental car or mileage reimbursement, and lodging accommodations. Requirements: Board Certification: Required State License: Active Washington state license required. Non-licensed candidates will not be considered. DEA: Active Washington state DEA required Certifications: Specific certifications (BLS, ACLS, etc.) will be discussed during credentialing. Candidates responsible for obtaining necessary certifications. Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner with recent face-to-face patient care experience within the past year.
