Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician Needed Near Broadway, NC (j-227405)

Are you a motivated Emergency Medicine physician seeking a locum tenens opportunity to provide exceptional care in a dynamic outpatient and inpatient setting? We're seeking a qualified physician to join our team and ensure high-quality patient care during a one-month staffing need.

What You'll Do:

• Provide standard solo Emergency Room coverage for 12-hour shifts, assessing and treating patients with a variety of acute illnesses and injuries.


• Collaborate effectively with mid-level providers to deliver comprehensive patient care.


• Utilize your clinical expertise to make diagnoses, develop treatment plans, and stabilize patients as needed.


• Maintain meticulous documentation within the Meditech electronic medical record system.


• Foster a positive and professional work environment.

Qualifications:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Emergency Medicine (preferred).


• Active medical license in the state of North Carolina (NC only).


• Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS, and ATLS.


• Minimum two weeks for credentialing.


• Strong clinical skills and a comprehensive knowledge base in Emergency Medicine.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information:

• Start Date: ASAP - Ongoing (assignment ends September 30, 2024)


• Coverage includes major holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, etc.)


• NC Medicaid/Medicare credentialing and PECOS enrollment highly preferred.


• Must possess a DEA with a North Carolina address.


• New providers must attend a mandatory 4-hour in-person orientation during business hours (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM).
