What You'll Do:

• Conduct comprehensive consultations and evaluations for adult patients with blood disorders and cancers.


• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, considering the unique needs of each patient.


• Manage complex medical conditions, including chemotherapy administration, blood product transfusions, and supportive care measures.


• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, monitor patient responses to treatment, and adjust care plans as needed.


• Provide ongoing patient education and support regarding hematologic and oncologic conditions, treatment options, and side effect management.


• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient and coordinated care delivery for patients with hematologic and oncologic needs.


• Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.

Who You Are:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with a current and active license to practice medicine (no state restrictions mentioned).


• Board-certified in Internal Medicine with a subspecialty certification in Hematology and Oncology (preferred).


• Fellowship training in Hematology-Oncology (highly preferred).


• Current ACLS certification (required).


• A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care to adult patients with complex hematologic and oncologic conditions.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.


• Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills to manage a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive care.


• Experience with stress testing (preferred).
