Detailed Description:

The facility, located near Elk, WA, is in need of an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide temporary coverage from May 19th to May 27th. This opportunity arises due to supplemental staffing requirements during this period.

The selected physician will join a dedicated team focused on delivering high-quality care to patients presenting to the Emergency Department. The facility operates with Epic EMR system and does not accept multiple providers for this coverage. The practice setting is exclusively inpatient, with no outpatient responsibilities, and hospital/surgery center privileges are not required.

The ideal candidate must be board-certified and possess certifications in ACLS, ATLS, BLS, and PALS. Licensing in the state of Washington is mandatory for this position. While the facility does not reimburse for licensing costs, temporary privileges are available, and the credentialing process is estimated to take 48 hours for qualified candidates.

The Emergency Department typically sees a patient volume ranging from 10 to 20 per shift, with 10 beds available for patient care. There is no requirement for admissions, and rounding duties are not applicable to this role.
