• Shift Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm


• Shift Description: Hospital consults and rounding in the inpatient psych unit


• On-Call Requirements: Weekends and evenings, shared between providers

Weekend Requirements:

• Weekend Ratio: 1:4

On-Call Requirements:

• On-call schedule/ratio is shared between 4 providers

Additional Job Details:

• Average Number of Patients Per Day: 12-15


• APP Coverage: Yes, PMHNPs


• Physician Supervising APP: Potentially an APP


• Number of Psychiatrists in Group: 4


• Required Experience/Procedures: Level 1- anxiety disorders, affective disorders, ADD/ADHD, personality disorders, eating disorders, developmental disorders, psychotic disorders, organic disorders addiction disorders.


• EMR: EPIC

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified in Psychiatry: Required


• CT License in Hand at Name Clear: Highly Preferred


• BLS, DEA, CSR: Required


• Clean Malpractice and Background: Required


• Local Candidates Preferred: No flights reimbursement provided


• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccine: Required (Verbal Confirmation needed at the time of name clear)

Certification Requirements:

• ACLS (AHA)


• BLS (AHA)


• DEA


• PALS (AHA)
