Mandatory Job Requirements:

• Residency: Successful completion of an approved ACGME or AOA-accredited postgraduate training program in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.


• Experience: Minimum 2 years of current experience in an Emergency Department with a pediatric services annual census of 10,000 patients or greater.


• Board Certification: Must be Board Certified in emergency medicine or pediatric emergency medicine.

• CME: Completion of 24 months of Continuing Medical Education.


• Ultrasound Training: Completion of an on-site training course with a minimum of 16 hours of CME.


• Case Logs: Documentation of 24 months of case logs.


• CV Requirements: Must have Work and Hospital affiliations listed separately, with Month/Year format.

Certification Requirements:

• ATLS Certification


• BLS Certification


• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Pediatric Emergency Medicine


• DEA License


• PALS Certification

License Requirements:

• Texas Medical License
