Description/Other Details:
We have an urgent requirement for a Hematology Oncologist near West Chester, PA, starting from 3/30/23. The assignment is expected to span the months of April, May, and June, with the possibility of extension based on demand. We are actively seeking a dedicated professional interested in evening and weekend call responsibilities.
Schedule Details:
- Clinic/Hospital Hours: 8 am - 5 pm
- Clinic/Hospital Days: Monday - Friday
- Call Night/Weekend: Yes
- Number of phone Consults: 0
- Call Days: Rotates approximately 3-5 days per month (Inpatient, with all other time dedicated to outpatient)
- Call Start Time: 4 pm (Fellow takes first call)
- Call End Time: 8 am (Following day; Schedule: 8 am - 5 pm M-F, with days off after call)
Patient Details:
- Number of patients seen per day in clinic: 15-17
- Support Staff: APP, RN, MA
- Average Number of Admissions per shift: There is a dedicated Inpatient team
- Age of patients: 18-99
- Reason For Need: Multiple open provider positions
