We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Obstetrics and Gynecology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in a supportive and dynamic inpatient setting near Franklin, Tennessee. This is a call-only position, providing excellent work-life balance and the potential for ongoing assignments.

- Call-only coverage
- Average call response time: 30 minutes
- Beeper call with an average of 2 consults, admissions, and callbacks per 24 hours
- Patient Care:
- Average deliveries: ~140 per year
- Unassigned patient rounding
Practice Highlights:

- Level IV Trauma Center
- Level I Pediatric care
- 16-bed OB/GYN department
- Support Team:
- 2 RNs per shift
- No advanced practice providers or office staff required
Skills and Responsibilities:
The role encompasses a wide range of OB/GYN skills, including:
- Obstetrics:
- Management of low-risk and high-risk pregnancies
- Fetal heart rate interpretation and basic OB ultrasounds
- Routine and complicated deliveries, including C-sections and VBACs
- Repair of 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
- Gynecology:
- Office procedures such as IUD insertion/removal, colposcopy, cryosurgery, and LEEP
- Surgical gynecology, including laparoscopic and major operative cases
Requirements:
- Active Tennessee medical license
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP, and EFM
- Must have TN Medicaid enrollment or eligibility
