Job Summary:

Under limited supervision, produce high quality screening and diagnostic exams, DEXA exams, educating patients regarding the scheduled exam, accurately documenting the completed exams in the EHR and imaging reporting system, assisting the radiologist with breast ultrasound biopsies, stereotactic biopsies and breast localizations. Performing high quality breast ultrasound exams under limited supervision and documenting and reporting accurate findings to the radiologist. This position is assigned at main campus and satellite facilities.

Qualifications
- Education
  - Required: Graduate of an Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology
  - Preferred: Graduate of a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) approved School of Sonography in addition to JRCERT approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Licensure/Certification
  - Required: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Radiology (R), ARRT – Mammography (M), ARRT – Breast sonography (BS) or American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) – Breast (BR), California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) – Radiology, CRT – Mammography and American Heart Association BLS
- Experience
  - Required: Minimum three (3) years as a Mammography Technologist and two (2) years as a licensed Breast Sonographer
