This position primarily involves 24-hour call coverage with no clinic responsibilities. Although nights and weekends are required, the average number of patients per day per provider is manageable, with an emphasis on clinic and OR cases._x000D_

You'll have the opportunity to join an established practice alongside an existing surgeon, allowing for collaboration and a supportive work environment. Notably, there are no ICU/critical care duties or codes to worry about._x000D_

Furthermore, you'll have access to ECU Health and air and ground support for immediate patient transfers. Our system-wide EMR (EPIC) ensures efficient record-keeping._x000D_

Procedures required for this position encompass emergent general surgery cases, including appendectomy and cholecystectomy. The location of this opportunity is situated near BUXTON, NC, offering you the chance to work in a picturesque coastal setting with a high quality of life._x000D_
