Locum Tenens Opportunity: Cardiothoracic Surgeon Join our team for a locum tenens position in Cardiothoracic Surgery at a facility near Bear Creek, Wisconsin. We're looking for a skilled and dedicated surgeon to cover the following dates: Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Holidays: Labor Day, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day, 4th of July, Christmas Eve (1/2 Day Commencing at Noon), Thanksgiving Day Position Details: Specialty: Thoracic Surgery - Cardio Thoracic Surgery Department: Cardio Thoracic Surgery Coverage Type: Call Only Practice Setting: Outpatient, Inpatient (Both Inpatient and Outpatient Required) Board Certification Required Active Wisconsin License Required Call Type: Beeper Call Response Time Required: 15 minutes Additional Details: Admissions per Day: Average 3-4 consults, Supervised stress tests: 4-8, Echo's: 5-12 Types of Cases: Typical "non-interventional" community hospital cardiology cases Description/Other Details: The CVT Surgeons are on call 7A-7A every day. They spend a fair amount of time on site during the week (roughly 6-8 hours per day) managing the CVT patients as well as supporting the interventional cardiologists for procedures they perform. In need of coverage Dec. 27, 2023 - Jan. 8, 2024; Feb. 5-12, 2024; potential dates April 2024 forward. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the healthcare needs of the community.
