Under the general direction of the collaborating physician, the Nurse Practitioner provides general outpatient or consultation services to patients with psychiatric illnesses.

-Full-time or Part-time (flexible with schedule)
-Provides outpatient and/or consultative services to patients with psychiatric illness
-Provides consultation to primary care, therapists and/or other providers in the community (e.g., teachers, probation officers, etc.)

Skills

Graduate from an NLN accredited Master’s Program in Nursing with a focus in Psychiatry Mental Health a plus

Current RN License to practice in the State of Wisconsin and certification as a APNP/Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber

Must be board certified as a Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner. Current certification by the ANCC/as an APRN-PMH /Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Psychiatric Mental Health a plus

NP experience required in any field
