Description
A locum tenens non-invasive cardiology opportunity is available in Monroeville, Pennsylvania, starting immediately and running through July 2025. The position requires full-time coverage for three weeks per month, working two weeks on and one week off.
Responsibilities include shared rounding and inpatient cardiology consults with APP and physician support, from approximately 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Providers will also supervise stress testing and interpret EKGs, Holter/event monitors, stress tests, and echocardiograms. No call responsibilities are expected.
The hospital provides advanced inpatient care with APP coverage available from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, handling an average inpatient census of 20-25 patients per day, along with 10 consults, all shared among the group.
Requirements:
• Board Certified in Cardiology
• Active Pennsylvania medical license or IMLC eligibility
• Clean background for expedited credentialing
• DEA certification and ACLS/BLS certifications
• Minimum one year of experience
Compensation:
• $450/hour
• Overtime paid at the hourly bill rate
• Travel expenses, including airfare, lodging capped at $150 per night, and transportation, are covered
• EMR systems used: Cerner PowerChart (necessary) and EPIC (preferred)
