Locum Tenens Hematology/Oncology Opportunity – Coudersport, Pennsylvania
A hematology/oncology locum tenens opportunity is available in Coudersport, Pennsylvania, starting February 3, 2025.
• The position requires a three-day-per-week onsite commitment, with flexible shifts running Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM.
• This is an outpatient-only role with no call responsibilities.
• The workload includes an average of 15 patients per day, with support provided by one full-time APP alongside the locum physician.
The patient mix is a typical community-based hematology/oncology practice, focusing entirely on adult patients. While bone marrow biopsies are optional, providers will not be responsible for non-hematology/oncology infusions.
Candidates must be board certified in medical oncology and hold a valid DEA certification. BLS certification is also required. While Pennsylvania licensure is preferred, candidates willing to obtain a state license will be considered. A minimum one-year commitment is mandatory due to the nature of this one-physician practice. Credentialing is estimated to take 60 days.
Travel expenses, including airfare, lodging capped at $150 per night, and transportation, are covered. The EMR system used is Aria (Varian Product).
