100% outpatient OB/GYN or Family Medicine/OB position (no deliveries or call) - opening near Sacramento, CA (Northern CA)

• FQHC setting – employed position. Permanent placement. 


• Lead physician position.  Residency training in Family Medicine/OB or OB/GYN needed.  Must be BE/BC in OB/GYN or Family Medicine with high-risk OB training. 


• Position is 100% outpatient with no hospital work or deliveries.  No call including nights or weekends. 


• Clinical Experience in women’s health and OB/GYN with leadership interest is desired. 


• Women’s Health services include primarily prenatal care (including but not limited to high-risk), limited office gynecology, and Comprehensive Perinatal Services Programs activities. This position has potential for Graduate Medical Education (GME) faculty appointment for full time staff.


• Average daily volumes are 14 patients per day.  Focus is on quality of care and not high volumes.  Low patient/provider ratios.


• Clinician will supervise a medical team of NP’s and PA’s plus a few specialty providers (Podiatrist and Endocrinologist) in a family practice clinic setting.


• Hours are Monday – Friday from 8 am – 5 pm with no call or weekends. 


• Optional 9/80 flex schedule where providers work eight 9-hour days in a row with 9^th day being 8 hours and 10^th day off.  (get a day off every two weeks)


• Location is 80 miles from Sacramento, CA, 70 miles from Redding, CA and 105 miles to Reno, Nevada.    City Population of 100,000.  Local 4-year University and 2-year community college. 


• Local regional airport in town or larger international airport in Sacramento, CA 80 miles away.
