Location: Stillwater, OK
Duration: Late May (~ May 26-31) – August 1
(Full-time coverage needed ~May 26-June 20 and July 7-August 1; *won’t need coverage June 21st – July 4)
Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
Shift: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shift - Monday-Wednesday are clinic days, starting at 8am and Thursday-Friday are scheduled surgeries, starting at 6:30am (prep for surgeries starting at 7am)
Call: call rotation, 1:5 weekend call Friday-Sunday
Volume: varies 30-60 patients per day, scheduled between 2 (ORS and PA)
Scope: PA Orthopedic Surgery – both clinic and IP surgical 1st assist
Procedures: Surgical 1st assist PA with strong Operative ORS background, well as OP Clinic for general orthopedics, tendon repairs, wound closures and debridement, injection of joints, fracture management sterile field, etc.
EMR: NextGen clinic and Meditech IP
Group/support: Working with 1 ORS, Dedicated Ortho nurse, Clinic manager
Required: PA – BC, Active OK license/OBNDD, DEA strongly preferred
