Description
SMART is actively recruiting for a locum emergency medicine physician to provide coverage for a client of ours in College Station, TX. Coverage is needed as soon as credentialed and ongoing during permanent recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Active TX license preferred but will consider those with IMLC
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine
- EM eligible: Current ATLS, ACLS and PALS are required
- EM Boarded: ACLS and PALS required to be current, ATLS can be expired but will need a copy of the card.
- Looking for candidates with at least 3-4 shifts of availability per month.Job Summary:
- Shift times: 7a-7p; 7p-7a
- APC Shift Times: 11a-9p
- Annual Volume: 23,000
- Avg. 16% admit rate
- ED runs codes
- Back up specialties: FM, IM, General Surgery, Urology, Cardiology, ENT, ID, Neurology and GI consults
- Level IV trauma center
