Washington, DC, the U.S. capital, is a compact city on the Potomac River, bordering the states of Maryland and Virginia. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The provider is responsible for performing physical exams, ordering appropriate lab tests, and evaluating those tests, to ensure quality care of the patient.
  • The Provider is also responsible for electronic medical record entries which reflect the patient's healthcare within the allotted time frame.
  • This is an independent contracting position staffed during the weekdays. Qualified candidates must have 4 to 7 days per month of availability to work.
The ideal candidate must qualify by having a minimum of 2 years (24 months+) recent and/or current experience in at least one the following approved specialties:
  • Emergency Medicine
  • Internal Medicine
  • Family Medicine
  • Geriatric Medicine
  • Occupational Medicine
  • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR)
  • Rheumatology
  • Sports Medicine
The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant must be well versed in their ability to performALLof the following exams:
  • Range of motion (using a goniometer)
  • Diabetes (monofilament)
  • PAP
  • Pelvic
  • Rectal
  • Smell/Taste Test
  • Cognitive Screenings
  • Musculoskeletal
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • United States Citizenship
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience within one of the followingSpecialties:
    • Emergency Medicine
    • Internal Medicine
    • Family Medicine
    • Geriatric Medicine
    • Occupational Medicine
    • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PMR)
    • Rheumatology
    • Sports Medicine
  • NP's - Nursing Graduate from an Accredited school (ACEN or CCNE)
    (The degree must have been obtained from an institution whose accreditation was in place for the year in which the course of study was completed.)
  • Current, full and unrestricted license to practice in any US State or Territory
  • PA's must hold NCCPA certification
