The Urgent Care locums position in Missouri…
-Location: Springfield, MO
-Duration: July – December 2025
-Schedule: Per diem, 4-14 shifts per month
-Shift: 7p-7a
-Volume: 20-30 per day
-Scope: bread and butter urgent care work. 70% adult, 30% pediatrics
>>Urgent care Plus is on campus with full level 1 trauma center – available for critical care patients.
>>The UC focuses on lower acuity patients but has capabilities for stat labs, CT< US and surg consults if needed
-EMR: Cerner
-Group: RN's and emergency staff should they require ER. 2 providers at night (1 locum MD/DO + 1 APP)
-Affiliated Hospital: 500 bed level 1 trauma center
-Required: Board certified or board eligible with Missouri or Compact license
