Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established Emergency Department team in Lawton, OK on a 1-year locum tenens contract, starting as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity for a physician looking for a long-term contract role with flexible scheduling and a supportive clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality emergency care for patients across all acuity levels

Work collaboratively with nurses, advanced practice providers, and other staff

Accurately document all patient encounters in a timely manner

Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed

Maintain active communication with hospital leadership and ED staff

Highlights:
12-hour shifts with flexibility between day, mid, and night schedules

Priority will be given to candidates available for night coverage

Immediate start for qualified candidates

Skills

Qualifications:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM) – required

Active, unrestricted medical license in the state of Oklahoma or ability to obtain

Willingness to work night shifts is essential

Strong clinical decision-making, multitasking, and communication skills
