Description
The Neurology locum tenens opportunity in New Mexico…
-Location: Santa Fe, NM
-Duration: July – December (potential for extension)
-Schedule: full-time (able to take time off over the duration of the assignment with a 30 day notice)
-Clinic: Monday – Friday, 8a -5p (34 hours of patient facing, 6 hours of admin time)
-Call: none
-Volume: 12-16 patients per day
-Scope: consult and treatment for Parkinson’s disease, huntington’s disease, epilepsy, tremors, amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), Tic and Tourette syndrome, Migrane, Headache, Stroke, Dementia. Clinic offers botulinum toxin injections for the treatments of dystonia, spasticity, and chronic migraine. Nerve conduction and EMG is required.
-EMR: Epic
-Affiliated Hospital: Level III trauma center, 200 bed facility
-Requirements: Board certified or board eligible with a New Mexico or Compact license *Travel, Accommodations, and Malpractice - PAID for locum opportunities*
*Assistance with credentialing provide – estimated 30 days for privileging*
