Description
The Advanced Practice Nurse manages the care of a defined patient population as a dominant aspect of the role. Recognized as an interdisciplinary leader within the service area. Consistently demonstrates core competencies of advanced practice in a defined specialty: consultation, research skills, clinical and professional leadership, collaboration, ethical decision-making, expert coaching and guiding. Critically analyzes the health care delivery system to maximize the delivery of quality, cost effective patient care services. We are currently seeking ACNPs for our Surgical Trauma and Burn ICU, Thoracic Cardiovascular Post-Operative Unit, the Thoracic Cardiovascular Clinic, the Cancer Center, Neonatal ICU, and Surgical ICU.
Skills
We're looking for candidates who have obtained their Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) designation, and have previous experience in critical care nursing.
