Willapa Behavioral Health provides the following types of behavioral health care:
•  Assessment and evaluation
•  Individual and group therapy
•  Substance abuse (chemical dependency) counseling
•  Medication evaluation and management
•  Case management

As a Nurse Practitioner on this team, you will provide care to a wide range of Behavioral Health clients assigned to your caseload. The ARNP is an integral member of an interdisciplinary team and has authority to prescribe medications, order tests, create psychiatric assessment evaluations and maintain treatment plans. In this role, you will use evidence-based practices to monitor clients' progress in care. This position will be in an outpatient setting with no weekend work. Occasional evening work as needed.

Skills

The ideal Nurse Practitioner candidate will be a licensed Clinical Nurse Specialist in Mental Health & Psychiatric Nursing with a minimum of two years post Master's experience working with child/adolescent and adult populations within Inpatient and/or Outpatient settings. This ARNP will need to be flexible and willing to help others in this interdisciplinary team environment.
