Prescott Valley is located approximately 10 miles east of Prescott in central Arizona. It is approximately 90 minutes north of Phoenix and offers a great quality of life. The area provides short commute times, excellent schools and endless options for outdoor recreational activities.

Cottonwood is adjacent to the Verde River approximately 55 miles northeast of Prescott. Elevations range from 3,300 feet to 3,900 feet above sea level and experiences a mild climate. It is in close proximity to an abundance of natural amenities such as the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Dead Horse Ranch State Park, Tuzigoot National Monument and the historic mining communities of Clarkdale and Jerome.

Under minimal supervision, the Staff Physician provides medical leadership to the medical team and is responsible for the provision of medical care within the physician’s specialty, scope of practice and area of expertise to the Community Health Center of Yavapai (CHCY) patients in an outpatient setting.

Skills:
One year experience providing patient care in a clinical setting, preferred. Experience with using electronic health record, preferred.

Skills

Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree from an accredited medical school, and at least three years of residency/internship experience. Active, valid Arizona license and federal DEA license required. Board certification in area of specialty or eligibility to obtain certification within one year of hire. BLS required.
