Catapult Healthcare is partnered with a Health System in Virginia, 65 miles outside of Roanoke, VA that is in need of locum tenens coverage for at least 4-6 months with the possibility to extend. The Ideal candidate would be a Board Certified Family Physician that is available Mon-Fri.
Reason for need: 1 physician retired, 1 mid-level and 1 physician relocating
Schedule: Monday through Friday with 1-2 saturdays per month covering Acute Care Clinic patients. Call rotation: 1:4 will include some Pediatric calls
Shift hours: 8A - 5P with 1 shift each week covering late night clinic opened until 6PM. Doors lock @ 6PM but patients inside clinic will need to be seen before leaving for the day.
Current Staff: 3 full time physicians, 1 part-time physician and 5 mid-levels on staff
EMR: EPIC
Number of exam rooms: 2 rooms open for each provider minimum or up to 3
Credentialing timeframe: 90 - 120 days
Requirements:
Board Certified in Family Practice
Must be comfortable taking pediatric calls - Ages: Newborns and up
Must be comfortable and experienced with geriatric patients
Must be comfortable with chronic disease management
Prefer provider to be comfortable with knee injections
Prefer provider comfortable with minor sutures - No Faces and no major sutures. **Please apply for additional details*
