Job Title: Endodontist Location: Multiple Cherokee Nation Locations – Oklahoma (Travel & Mileage Reimbursed) Schedule: Monday–Friday | Flexible Scheduling Available Pay Rate: $165–$216/hr Bill Rate: $235–$250/hrPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Endodontist to join the dental care team within Cherokee Nation Health Services. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality endodontic and general dental care across multiple clinic locations. The ideal candidate will have a commitment to patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and flexibility in their schedule. Mileage and travel support are included. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat diseases of the dental pulp and periapical tissues Perform root canal therapy and related surgical procedures Conduct thorough patient examinations and develop comprehensive treatment plans Provide all phases of general dental care as needed in support of clinic operations Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant electronic dental records Prescribe medications within the scope of dental practice Collaborate with dental and medical staff to support comprehensive patient care Promote oral health through education and outreach when applicable Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards and clinic protocols Qualifications: DDS or DMD degree from a CODA-accredited dental school Completion of an ADA-accredited Endodontic residency program preferred Active, unrestricted dental license in good standing Current CPR certification Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must successfully pass a background check and be free of OIG/GSA exclusions Proficiency with dental software and familiarity with EMR systems; ability to adapt to new technologies quickly Ability to manage patient care independently and work within a collaborative clinical environment Work Environment & Physical Demands: Work is performed in modern clinical dental settings Exposure to medical equipment, radiation, and airborne particles may occur Regular requirements include walking, standing, reaching, bending, and lifting up to 100 lbs Frequent use of hands, dental instruments, and computer systems Why Join Us: Serve a diverse and appreciative patient population Supportive clinical and administrative staff Flexibility in work location and schedule Competitive compensation with mileage/travel reimbursement Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in Native American communities
