- 524 bed hospital
- Rounding on In-Patients
- Avg. 13patients per shift
- Will do admissions
- No procedures, but needs to be comfortable with noninvasive ventilation modalities
- From 1:00 pm " 6:00 pm, Swing Shift Hospitalist will be the primary point of contact for the ER.
- Requirements
- Active SC license
- CSR and DEA in SC
- BC in Internal Medicine
- Must be able to cover open dates without breaking up a stretch of dates
- Must be able to admit from ER
- expected to place an order for admission <30 minutes
- Clean candidates only (no malpractice or background issues)
- Support Staff
- Day Shift APP is available to *assist* with admissions until 7:00 pm; however Swing Shift Hospitalist is expected to see and evaluate any patient handled by the APP and document a substantial portion of one of the following elements of the note: History of Present Illness; Physical Examination; or Medical Decision Making. Will also be responsible for submitting the professional fee bill (including FS modifier).
