Schedule

• 7a-4p or 7a-5p
  
• 12 hr guarantee shift for night shifts
  
• 10 shifts/month
  

Clinical Details

• 2 rounding providers who round and admit patients from the ED
  
• 12 patients to round on daily with 0-1 admission each shift
  
• Night shifts avg 4-5 admissions
  
• Ventilator management
  
• Treadmill stress tests
  
• Helpful additions: ART, ABG, intubation, cenral line placement, LP, thoracentesis, paracentesis
  
• 2 units total: ICU and MedSurg
  
• Very few on site specialists
  
• Specialists available onsite: Gen surgery, anesthesia, orthopedics, urology. neurology consults and nephrology consults
  

Requirements

• Must be comfortable admitting into the ICU and working in a small hospital
  
• Willingness to work both day and night shifts
  
• CA license
  
• Board certified in internal medicine (or family medicine with >3 years of hospitalist experience)
  
• Comfortable managing patients in the ICU and vent management
  
• Proof of covid vaccine or valid medical or religious waiver
  
• ACLS
