Physician / Surgery - General / New Hampshire / Permanent / Locums General Surgery Need in New Hampshire Job

Description


  • Coverage Needed: 

    • ASAP - ongoing



  • Clinical Information: 

    • 24 hour call coverage

    • Half Day or Full-Day-Clinic while simultaneously on-call

    • Patient ages: adult

    • Inpatient setting 

    • There is one General Surgeon on at a time.

    • Support staff- PM, MOS, MOC, RNs. No PA or NP support

    • Minimal call-in on site overnight. Most can be consulted over the phone and surgeries can be done the next day. 

    • Follow-up care

    • New Patients (depending on how long their rotation is)

    • Phone calls 14-16 per week - it does include trauma

    • Up to 15 days of call   Weekends are 24 hour shifts.

    • EMR - eClinical Works/ Meditech

    • Daily patient volume 16 per day



  • Required: 

    • ACLS and ATLS

    • Board certified/board eligible

    • DEA/CSR

    • Current NH license 

    • DEA must remain in state to maintain privileges. Provider must be willing transfer and maintain DEA in state for the duration of privileges being active, or obtain a new in state DEA to remain in state for the duration of privileges being active 

    • Current Flu Vaccine 

    • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid 19 

    • Exemptions only allowed for religious or medical reasons, once approved by the facility.
