Description
A state facility in Oregon is seeking a licensed Clinical Psychologist for a 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanent placement. This role is based in a forensic mental health setting, working with patients with serious mental illness. The psychologist will be part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary team and will provide both assessment and therapeutic services.
Responsibilities include:Conducting psychological evaluations and evidence-based treatment
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
Applying current assessment tools and treatment modalities
Maintaining accurate documentation using the Avatar EMR system
Supporting culturally competent and trauma-informed care
Skills
Minimum 1 year of experience required
Forensic or serious mental illness experience strongly preferred
Must be fully licensed in Oregon
BLS certification required
No board complaints
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Notes
Full-time, Monday–Friday (40 hours/week)
Panel video interview required (onsite possible)
Onboarding: 4–6 weeks
COVID-19 vaccination not required
