Location:   San Antonio, Texas
Duration:   July 7, 2025 and ongoing until permanent is hired
Schedule:  2-4 weeks per month, Monday-Friday, 8a-5p + rotating weekends and night call
Call: 1:4 rotating weekends and night call
Scope: 50% outpatient, 50% inpatient, 60% noninvasive, 30% invasive, 10% interventional
Volume: Per Physician per day: About 7 noninvasive procedures per day, 5 invasive procedures, 4 interventional
Procedures required: Echocardiography, TEE, Nuclear cardiology, PA Catheter placement, IABP, Cardiac Catheterization, Heart Biopsy, Angioplasty, Intracoronary Stent Placement, Atherectomy.
EMR:  EPIC
Hospital: 268 beds, 40 ICU beds, Cath lab onsite, surgical back up.
Group/support: 4 RN’s, 1 LVN, 6 MA’s
Requirements (boards, license):   Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Cardiology, Clean background and malpractice for temporary privileges, EPIC experience required
