We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) to join our team in Paducah, KY. In this flexible, hybrid role, you will play a critical part in helping U.S. Veterans receive the benefits they’ve earned by conducting non-treatment disability assessments for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

This is a low-stress, high-impact role for a psychologist who values service, independence, and professional excellence.

Position Highlights:
Schedule: Monday through Friday (Flexible)

Hybrid Structure: 1–2 days onsite in Paducah, 3–4 days via telehealth

Patient Load: ~3 Veterans per day

Setting: Assessment only – no treatment or prescribing

Documentation: Complete and submit Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) within 24–48 hours

Responsibilities:
Review and interpret large volumes of electronic medical records (EMRs)

Conduct structured, non-treatment compensation and pension (C&P) exams

Analyze documentation and examination findings to form objective medical opinions

Accurately and efficiently complete DBQs

Maintain compliance with VA expectations and timelines

Serve Veterans with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail

Ideal Candidate:
Holds a PhD or PsyD in Psychology from an APA-accredited program

Has an active, unrestricted license in any U.S. state

Proficient in typing, EMR navigation, and time management

Comfortable spending at least 50% of their day reviewing and documenting

Mission-driven and enthusiastic about supporting Veterans in their community

Able to commute or relocate to Paducah, KY prior to start date
