Description
This urgent care position is located in the Charleston, South Carolina area, offering walk-in care for illness, injury, occupational medicine, and routine physicals. The clinic is focused on providing convenient, high-quality care to patients of all ages in a welcoming, patient-centered environment.
Position Types Available:
• Full-Time
• Part-Time
• PRN
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide urgent care services to a diverse patient population
• Conduct patient assessments and physical exams
• Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute conditions
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Perform minor procedures as appropriate
• Document patient encounters clearly and accurately in the EMR
• Collaborate effectively with clinical staff to maintain patient flow
• Educate patients on treatment plans and preventive care
Qualifications:
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in South Carolina
• Board certification or eligibility in the appropriate field
• DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Preferred experience in urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine
• Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
