Position: Permanent MD/DO – Emergency Medicine
Location: Caribou, Maine

Key Responsibilities:
Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a hospital-based emergency department.
Diagnose and manage a wide range of acute medical conditions and injuries.
Perform emergency procedures including intubation, suturing, splinting, and advanced cardiac life support.
Work collaboratively with hospital staff, including specialists, nurses, and advanced practice providers.
Participate in shift-based scheduling including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine (MD/DO).
Eligible for medical licensure in Maine.
ACLS, ATLS, and PALS certifications required.
Comfortable working in a rural, low-volume emergency department with broad clinical autonomy.
