The University of Missouri's School of Medicine,?[Apply Here]is expanding and searching for a full-time General Neurologist to join our growing neurology practice. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates just starting their careers, as well as experienced candidates to join a thriving academic neurology department.
About MU Neurology:
MU Department of Neurology offers comprehensive and multidisciplinary care in areas such as neuromuscular, sleep medicine, stroke, epilepsy, headache, movement disorders, dementia, multiple sclerosis, neuro-ICU, and general neurology. In addition, we have expertise in various subspecialty areas, including pediatric neurology, neuro-ophthalmology, neuropathology, neuro-rehab, and pain medicine.

Join a department of 16 neurologists, 14 neuroscientists
Nurse Practitioners
Opportunities to assist in the department's growth, the education of medical students, neurology residents, and neurology fellows, as well as research and scholarly activities.
Responsibilities: M-F 40 hours week
90% Clinical 10% Teaching/Administrative Administrative: day per week Clinic Service:
Inpatient/Outpatient: 16/day Inpatient Only: 10-12/day Outpatient Only: 14-16/day Exam Rooms: 2-3 1 Nurse Teaching Opportunities
Present 1-2 times per year in Grand Rounds Will always have learners, but able to decide how many are present in clinic Option to oversee resident clinic and review encounters as a way to build productivity Call Schedule
Two weeks on, twice per year Very light with residents taking first call NO stroke or ICU Call All ranks available ' commensurate with experience

Qualifications:
MD/DO
Board-certified or board-eligible in neurology
For the purposes of this application, board-certified/board-eligible physicians are considered experienced.
