Coastal town in Minnesota is looking for an RN Director if Inpatient Care with 5 years of leadership experience to be responsible for coordinating the staff and resources of the Intensive Cardiac Care Unit, Medical Surgical, OB unit, Labor/ Delivery Nursery, Cardiac Rehab and Chemo Infusion Therapy Units.

Job Description

Plans, organizes and administers nursing service functions on a 24 hour basis. Assigns duties and evaluates performance of departmental personnel; assures physicians orders are followed; identifies patient care problems, investigates and develops solutions, resolving complaints; hires, trains new personnel; may instruct staff on new technique, procedure and equipment.

Experience

1. Graduate of an accredited RN Nursing Program and possess current MN license.

   
   



2. BAN; BSN preferred.

   
   



3. 5 years experience in a leadership/management role.

   
   



4. Certification in ACLS and BCLS.

   
   



5. 2-3 years clinical experience in one or more areas (i.e., Med/Surg., ICCU, Obstetrics, Labor/Delivery.
