Position Details:
• Adult only population
• Inpatient / Outpatient Mix
• 10 bed inpatient unit
• Daily outpatient volume average of 8 with 2-3 new patients per week
• Average inpatient census of 8
• Daily Inpatient Volume of 5 patients per physician
• New Patient Intake time allotment of 60 minutes
• Outpatient follow up time allotment of 30 minutes
• ECT therapy in facility
• Call coverage is by phone only during the week
• Locum support in place for call coverage to increase your work/life balance on the weekends
• Additional stipend in place for call if you want to make extra money
• Mentoring and support available for new physicians
• Multidisciplinary team in place
• 2016, 2017, and 2018 residents and experienced physicians accepted
• BC and BE psychiatry candidates accepted
• Full support staff in place consisting of mid-level providers and nurses
• Most up to date technology and equipment available for all specialties and sub-specialtiesCompensation:
• Base salary guarantee over $251,000 to start plus production incentives.
