Description
We have an Emergency Medicine position available in Southwest Louisiana! It is located about 1 hour West of Lafayette, LA and about 2 hours East of Houston, TX.
Residency trained BC/BE ABEM/AOBEM, FP, or IM with 2 years experience (PEDS exp is preferred)
Total Bed Size: 392
ED Bed Size: 16
Annual Volume: 25k
Admission Rate: 30%
EMR: Meditech
Shift coverage: double doc non to 8p with a MLP til 10p; otherwise single coverage
Shifts: 6a - 6p / 6p - 6a / 12p - 8p
High acuity level - seeing 70 pts/day; also children and women seen; docs run all codes
Medical malpractice covered
