Emergency Medicine - Mississippi Baptist Medical Center - Jackson, MS

• 90 Days to Credential
• 60k annual ED volume
• 642 Hospital beds
• ABEM or true Board Eligible ABEM, If grandfathered in ABEM then they are okay. If they were boarded in current year and can’t sit for 6 months they will be allowed a grace. Need confirmation of them sitting for the exam
• Extensive physician and midlevel coverage; 6a-6p, 7a-7p, 8a-8p, 6p-6a, 7p-7a (doc shifts)
7a-6p, 12p-10p, 5p-3a (MLP Shift)
• Finger Print Background Checks must be included with their application
• NIH- certification must be completed within last 6mon- we have a site they can obtain for free if needed
• Admit Rate: 15.2%, Transfer rate: .5%
• Patients per hour: 1.5ish per hour
• EMR system – Qual Charts
