Description
Shifts are 7a-7p, 10a-10p, 1p-1a, 7p-7a Monday – Sunday
90% Adult/ 10% Peds
20 – 30 patients per day - - 40 beds
38% admissions/42% discharges
Admitting physician writes admission orders
Codes – Code team responds. ED physicians only respond if code is in radiology, which is directly adjacent to the ED.
14 FTE's in practice - Emergency medicine
Privileges take 90 days
