Cardiothoracic Surgery First Assist – Williamsport, Pennsylvania

$160/hr plus

Details:

• Full-time locum opportunity with weekday and call coverage.


• Schedule: Mon–Fri 7?a.m.–6?p.m. plus night call (6?p.m.–7?a.m.); weekend call 7?a.m.–7?a.m. with rounding ~10?a.m.–4?p.m.


• Will consider providers for 1 week on / 1 week off rotations.


• Expected to scrub with the surgical team for scheduled cases; hospital coverage includes patient rounding and consults.


• Must be able to perform endoscopic vein harvesting (EVH) using Getinge Vasoview Hemopro 2 system with Olympus HD equipment.


• Typical cases: CABG, thoracic cases, AVR, TAVR, aortic cases.


• Works both independently and collaboratively with 2 floor APPs and 2 surgical APPs.


• ACLS, BLS, CPR certifications required.


• Pennsylvania license accepted or willing to obtain.


• DEA required.


• Paid travel and housing included.
