Details:
•  Location: North Carolina - about 1.5 to Charlotte/Raleigh, NC
•  Duration: August – Ongoing Locums Coverage
•  Schedule: Flexible - 7 to 14 shifts per month
•  Shift: 7 on, 7 off - 7a-7a - 24 hour call from hotel
•  Scope: Inpatient Pediatric Hospitalist 24-hr. Call – pediatric and newborn rounding (do have “NAS” Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome babies), called in when OBGYNs request (not required to attend every delivery), no NICU babies, those are transferred out. ER calls, new admissions, discharges.
•  Preferred but not required: circumcision, intubation, lines
•  Ages: 0-18, deliver at 34 weeks or greater
•  Volume: 3-4 babies in nursery, 1-2 pediatric patients to round on, average 60 deliveries per month
•  EMR: Epic
•  Group: Anes, Respiratory therapy, OBGYN, 4 other Ped Physicians, 3 APPs
•  Hospital: 104 beds, no trauma, level 2 nursery with 5 beds
•  Credentialing: temps can be granted in 30 days
•  Require: BC, Active NC license or IMLC Compact License
