Details:
Dates of Coverage: As soon as credentialing is complete.
Schedule: In clinic 8a-5p, in hospital call coverage 24 hour shift
Practice Setting: Clinic, Call, and Hospital.
Reason for Coverage:
Difficulty filling open positions, community OB/GYN retiring out of call group.
Number of Physicians in Practice: 2
Will Other OB/GYNs Provide Coverage During Locums Coverage Dates: Yes-2 providers and then share call with the Center for Family Health
How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 2.5 FTE in the clinic
Number of Exam Rooms: 10
Onsite Lab & Utrasound: YES
Support Staff: RNs for intake, MAs, CSR (front desk support).
Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
Trauma Level 2
Required Procedures:
Low Risk Pregnancy (i.e. History of Twins, Toxemia, Pyelonephritis, etc.)
High Risk Pregnancy (i.e. with Toxemia, Diabetes, Class II or Higher Cardiacs, Chronic Lung Problems, Chronic Renal Disease, etc.
Labor and Delivery Required Procedures:
Routine Delivery –Vaginal, Low Forceps, Decision-Making for C-Section
Complicated Delivery –C-Section, Breech, Multiple Births, Abruptions, etc.
VBAC’s
Repair of 3rd & 4th Degree Lacerations
Gynecology Required Procedures:
Office/Minor Gynecology –IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, Cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
Surgical Gynecology – Open
