· Call and requirements: Friday: OR: 07:00- 15:00 1st Call: 15:00 - 07:00 Saturday: OR: 07:00 - 11:00 (OR may be extended depending on volumes) 1st Call: 11:00 - 07:00 Sunday: OR: 07:00 - 11:00 (OR may be extended depending on volumes) 1st Call: 11:00 - 07:00
· Supervision vs independent: Supervision
· Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
· Certifications required: Board Certified, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Pediatric Life Support (PALS)
· Number of operating rooms:
· License required or accepting IMLC: Active State License
Facility Location
Kearney is home to the University of Nebraska which was founded in 1905. The city’s Moto is: “The Heart of Nebraska”. There are two microbreweries there as well as the Museum of Nebraska art which houses artifacts from 175 years ago, as far back as the 19th century. The Viaero Event Center which seats 5,500 and hosts performances, events and concerts, is also located in Kearney.
