Hospital is adding 2 Day Hospitalists to a team of 10 daytime Hospitalists and 2 Nocturnists already on staff.  One physician has relocated due to a newborn and they are growing.

Details:

• Employed by the Hospital


• 230 licensed acute care beds


• Block Schedule, 7 on / 7 o f f


• Rotation Wednesday to Tuesday


• No procedures required


• No vent management


• ICU with well established pulmonary critical care on staff
  
  
  
  • Responsible for Critical Care patients and admit to ICU
  
  
  • Pulmonary & Critical Care coverage available – someone from CC is always on for consults
  
  
  
  


• Census split evenly among Hospitalists


• Patient population - no pediatrics


• 21 specialties onsite


• Emergency department runs codes


• Day Hospitalist average 16 patients / day

Available to: FM, IM, Med Peds
