Teleradiology – Southwest Georgia

• Hospital-employed position seeking a full-time BC/BE Teleradiologist


• Salary: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience


• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM; extra pay available for evening (5 PM–9 PM) or weekend coverage


• Call: No call required


• Facility: One-center facility with Emergency Department; daytime shifts will also have an on-site radiologist working


• Modalities: Must be proficient and willing to read XR, DEXA, MRI, CT, and US; optional modalities include PET and FL


• Volume: Approximately 80 reads per shift, with 50% general radiology

• Requirements: Completion or upcoming completion of radiology residency or fellowship; BC/BE in Radiology (if eligible, must achieve certification within 5 years); Georgia license or participation in Interstate Medical Licensure Compact


• Volume/Types of Cases: ~32–40 MRI exams per week, 240–290 CT exams per week, 70–80 US exams per week, 280–350 XR exams per week, plus fluoro studies (Ba Swallow, Modified Ba Swallow, UGI, SBFT, BE, PEG confirmations, chest with fluoro)


• Technology Available: 128-slice CT, 3T MRI, ultrasound, vascular studies, nuclear medicine, PET, echocardiography, nuclear cardiac scanning, mammography, and DEXA bone densitometry


• Closest airports: Southwest Georgia Regional Airport (Albany, GA – 15 minutes); Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (3 hours)
