Description
Medical Center is recruiting a Pediatrician who will have a clinic and also help cover the hospital at least ten days per month
This is a new opportunity that has been created to meet both patient and physician needs
492-bed hospital with a Level II NICU and an L&D service that delivers from 90-120 babies per month
Currently there is one employed pediatrician one private practice physician who covers the pediatric service at the hospital
The recruitment need is for a physician who will manage the newborn inpatients (healthy babies as well as those in the NICU), the pediatric inpatients, and help to grow the program line
Currently the daily census in the hospital averages four infants in the NICU and two children
The ideal candidate will be a physician who is experienced and comfortable caring for inpatient newborns as well as those in the NICU and will collaborate care with other physicians and will work well with the nursing staff
