Facility in Pendleton, OR seeking Lucrative Midwife locums coverage
Rates: $2500/24 hour inclusive of all hours worked.
Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: Monday–Friday (8a–5p) in the clinic, plus weeknight call and 24-hour weekend call rotation.
Commitment: 1 week per month (approximately 10 shifts total).
Full Scope Care: Includes prenatal care, routine reproductive health, postpartum care, and deliveries for all female age groups.
EMR Systems: Meditech (Hospital), Centricity (Birth Center), and eClinical (Clinic).
Support Staff: Dedicated MAs and RNs available in both clinic and hospital settings.
Key Responsibilities & Procedures
Perform natural and emergency deliveries in collaboration with the on-call physician.
Required Procedure: First-assist with C-sections with the OB/GYN.
Conduct IUD/Nexplanon insertions and removals.
Manage routine OB checks and normal pregnancies.
Provide comprehensive birth control counseling and contraceptive management.
Requirements
Experience: MUST have recent experience working as a midwife in a hospital setting.
Note: No new grads or home-birth-only midwives will be considered.
Board Certification: Required.
Licensure: Active Oregon (OR) state license is required.
Certifications: Active BLS, DEA, ACLS, and NRP are required.
