Facility near Seattle, WA seeking ObGyn locums coverage
Rates: $$2500/day with 4 hour gratis.
$300/hr after 4 hours.
Orientation $150/hr (typically 4-8 hours long)
Holidays - 1.5x.
Opportunity Highlights
Schedule: 6–8 call shifts per month; 9–12 months of coverage needed.
Shift Times: 24-hour call (7a–7a) with a 20-minute response time.
Work Setting: Mixed Clinic and Hospital (L&D Unit and ED).
Volume: * Clinic: Average 18 patients per day.
L&D: 20–30 deliveries per month.
Callback: Averages 8.2 hours on weekdays and 9.4 hours on weekends.
Support: Shared office with 2 OB/GYNs, 2 FPBOs, and 2 CNMs. L&D is staffed with 2–3 RNs.
Key Duties & Required Procedures
Clinic & Hospital: Full-scope OB/GYN clinic care plus L&D and ED call coverage.
Deliveries: Routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs.
Surgical: C-sections (recovery in L&D), Ectopics, D&Cs, and repair of 3rd–4th degree lacerations.
Clinical Nuance: Must be comfortable handling OB inductions and primarily emergent GYN surgeries.
Supervision: Must be willing to supervise/help FPOBs with C-sections if needed.
Requirements
Clinical Skills: Proficiency in low-risk, high-risk, and FHR interpretation is REQUIRED.
Board Status: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible (0–5 years out of residency).
Licensure: Washington (WA) State License highly preferred; IMLC considered (LOQ must be uploaded).
Certifications: Active BLS, ACLS, and DEA are required.
Commitment: Must have a 20-minute response time while on call (contact by cell).
